Let’s call this one Nuts and Bolts on Steroids. It’s not just tires or
magnetos or carburetors, it’s an entire car! A 1921 Overland Touring,
completely disassembled by a previous owner with good intentions.
Things changed and the project died years ago. Now, the BAHCC
N&B crew has been called to the rescue. For those that accept the
challenge, a full BBQ lunch with beverages will be provided along with
the opportunity to get some grease on your hands.
The plan is to sort through boxes of parts and put them together in such a way as to create an
automobile! The goal is to have a rolling chassis by BBQ time. Come join in the fun.
The location is the LAST CHANCE GARAGE in Benicia. This is the home of the car collection of Russ
and Bob Taft, well known organizers of Cars & Coffee events and good friends of antique autos in
Contra Costa County.
